The site is situated right next to the sea. Cottages can be rented out of season on special arrangement. There is facilities for cleaning and freezing of fish. The coastline and waters around Ærø is very interesting and varied, there is good possibility for catching sea trout, cod, garfich and flat fish. Ærø´s coastline is 70 km. long and 80 - 90 % is interest for anglers. From Skjoldnæs lighthouse in north, to southern Vejsnæs to Erik´s tail in the east, the beaches are flat and sandy, some with reefs, small bays and coves, which are ideal for sea trout and other fish which has an anglers interest. If the wind from south-east too strong, it is possible to find shelter on the other side of the island. Here the cod is a rare guest but there can sometimes be a lot of sea trouts here, even more than at the south coast.
